Rama Resort Agonda Beach

Best place in Agonda Beach/Goa. The cabins were perfect with AC and were kept clean and tidy the whole time. The staff who took care of us went above and beyond where ever possible and did so with a smile, Sandeep was particularly nice and attentive, making sure we had a very pleasant stay. There are some very sweet Cats and a Dog who is so gentle and sweet (Milli) being right on the beautiful beach means you can't be in a better location. Unrelated to Rama resort, don't bother doing a fishing trip you won't catch anything.

Pros: 1. Location is very nice. Located just right on the Agonda beach. Cons: 1. Rooms are not upto the mark compared to the amount paid. No Telephone (you have to go to reception for any request). No Proper room-services. No fridge. 2. Street dogs are just roaming around in whole property. 3. You may find lizards in the room or in bathroom as the built quality of wooden cottages was very low with many holes at the joints. 4. Staff person just entered the room without knocking on the door. This happened twice although I have informed him first time not to come without knocking. 5. Same person has broken a wheel of our bag.

Stayed here for 3 days. The individual cottages are quite nicely built with spacious bathrooms . Very clean and well maintained . Since we 3 ladies stayed in a single room , we had asked for an extra bed ( did cost us extra) but it also came with an extra cot which was nice .The bed linen and towels were fresh and clean . They did stock drinking water bottles every day for us . The property is right on the Agonda beach and the restaurant faces the sea. So it’s very easily accessible and you can spend the whole day at the restaurant chilling and looking at surfers. The restaurant staff were polite and esp. Mr.Raju was very good and we got great service . Breakfast buffet is basic which is fine ( toast and butter , 1-2 Indian items like idlis or parathas and poha ,fruits and coffee ) because except few guests with kids , the rest usually go outside for brunch .But I’d say their live counter for Indian bread was brilliant . Their stuffed naan, paratha and rotis were so good honestly! Twice we skipped going out to eat because the food here was good . If you still want to eat , there are some great restaurants and cafés right outside which serve great food . Alcohol was slightly expensive .If you want to drink in your room ( all rooms have a small deck where you can sit and relax ) , there is an alcohol outlet right outside with MRP . You can pick up from there . Of the 3 days we stayed , there was live music on one of the days . The band was called ‘ February Musician’. Shoutout to the singer , he had a fantastic voice and kept the crowd engaged for a long time . Overall , great place to stay if you want to just relax .

Location is very good and infront the beach. Rooms are good and water heaters are working for few rooms , owner need to workout on room cancellation policy. Should inform to customers upfront for the T&C to cancel the rooms, seems need to 48hrs prior notice to cancel the rooms which are pre-booked otherwise he is not returning the amount. 1-2 employees are reachable for concerns. Good part is park area is good even for mini buses. I strongly recommend carry the 5-10 litters water cans. Restaurant food is costly. Better explore outside foods

A well-maintained beachside resort at Agonda beach. The premises and beach were clean. We went there as two families and were offered their beach-view cottages. Food options at the resort were tasty and affordable. The rooms were also clean. The owner, Mr Sameer and the staff were very courteous. Overall, it was a value for money experience. The only downside is the location of Agonda beach being a little remote. It won't suit folks who plan to roam around in North Goa as it's a 2hr+ drive easily. You can always explore locations in South Goa from here. If you prefer a quiet vacation with family at the beachside with less travel to other locations, go for it.
